Data Science & AI student at Saxion with hands-on experience in predictive maintenance, energy forecasting, and NLP. Currently seeking a third-year internship focused on machine learning and AI engineering.
Check out my work!I'm a second-year Applied Data Science & AI Engineering student at Saxion. I got into this field because I wanted to actually understand how models learn, not just throw data at them and hope for the best.
Most of my experience comes from real projects. I interned at Scania's truck factory in Zwolle for seven months, doing predictive maintenance research through Saxion's Lectoraat Ambient Intelligence. After that I worked on energy forecasting for an EU sustainability project, NLP for the Dutch Land Registry, and right now I'm building computer vision models for the Politieacademie.
I also sit on the study program committee at Saxion and work part-time as a lifeguard and receptionist at SRO.
Here are some technologies I work with:
Worked within the Saxion Lectoraat Ambient Intelligence research group, stationed at Scania's truck production facility in Zwolle. Supported data-driven predictive maintenance research for the carrier systems that transport truck assemblies through the production hall. Created 50+ data visualizations using Python and Streamlit, and built interactive dashboards to help the team explore and present operational sensor data.
Front desk and poolside safety at a public swimming facility. Part-time alongside studies.
Part-time role helping improve the Applied Data Science & AI Engineering program. The study was brand new when I started, so there's a lot to shape. I bring the student perspective on curriculum, workload, and how things actually land in practice.
